In 2014 I was awarded a scholarship to study at The Purcell School for two years, where apart from completing my academical studies, I had the opportunity to learn pianistically and musically from professor Tessa Nicholson, one of the best piano teachers in the UK. It has been a real privilege for me to have been a student of this centre and to have been able to respond to the level of excellence of students and teaching staff.
The Purcell School is the oldest music school focused on young musicians. Based in Bushey (Watford) and easily communicated with London, The Purcell School offers a complete education with music as its capital priority. The centre was awarded with the Mozart Medal of UNESCO in 2003, which was received by Prince Charles representing the school, who is one of its patrons along with legendary pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy, among others. Sir Simon Rattle is honorary president of the school. In 2015, the centre received the recognition as Fazioli Pianoforti centre of excellence.
