My Schools of music
After my graduation in London, I moved to Spain to widen my formation doing my Master Degree with professor Nino Kereselidze at Centro Superior Katarina Gurska in Madrid.
The school presents itself as a private centre of reference in Spain to complete the musical studies. Right now, the CSKG counts with three schools, which offer a wide musical formation, from the "musical awakening" for young children, to the most specialized teaching for postgraduate and doctorate.
-Genil 13: Elemental and professional teachings.
-Paseo de la Castellana 95: Pop-rock, Jazz and classical percussion.
-Santa Engracia 181: Artistic college teachings, Masters in arts and advanced programmes.
In 2016 I was admitted and awarded a scholarship to study at The Guildhall School in order to continue with my musical studies (Bachelor in music - Classical piano) under the teachings of professor Peter Bithell.
This institution offers graduate and post-graduate studies in music and dramatic arts since 1880. It holds a vibrant, international community of young musicians, actors and artistic producers in the heart of the City of London, where personalities such as Jacqueline du Pré or Orlando Bloom have formed.
This centre has been rated Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework and ranked as the UK’s top conservatoire in the Guardian University Guide 2019 for Music, the school is a global leader of creative and professional practice which promotes innovation, experiment and research, with over 1,000 students in higher education, drawn from nearly 60 countries around the world.
In 2014 I was awarded a scholarship to study at The Purcell School for two years, where apart from completing my academical studies, I had the opportunity to learn pianistically and musically from professor Tessa Nicholson, one of the best piano teachers in the UK. It has been a real privilege for me to have been a student of this centre and to have been able to respond to the level of excellence of students and teaching staff.
The Purcell School is the oldest music school focused on young musicians. Based in Bushey (Watford) and easily communicated with London, The Purcell School offers a complete education with music as its capital priority. The centre was awarded with the Mozart Medal of UNESCO in 2003, which was received by Prince Charles representing the school, who is one of its patrons along with legendary pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy, among others. Sir Simon Rattle is honorary president of the school. In 2015, the centre received the recognition as Fazioli Pianoforti centre of excellence.
This was the centre where I started to take my first steps in the music world, guided by my professor María Luisa Rojas along with a teaching staff who, during ten years, made me realize the deep fulfillment and enjoyment music can provide.
This conservatoire, which offers elemental and professional teachings, was founded on April 30th, 1982. Its name is taken in honor to the great pianist Esteban Sánchez, born in Orellana la Vieja, who worked as a professor and head of this institution during the last years of his life until his death in 1997.
